The following photos were shot on the 30th of July 2012.  Nothing fancy, some low light photos.

Apologies for the inactivity of the blog.  We've been busy and we'll make up for it.

Little Marcus Co

After two days of labor my dear College friend Djerty Jean gave birth to Marcus Jacob. Even if he was still in the NICU and there was a glass wall dividing us (we could only view him from the outside) Tito Paul and I still took photos to celebrate his first day outside of the womb.

A lot of people agreed that he looks a lot like his Dad-Dexter. :)

Took a little detail shots.

Sleeping like a baby after breastfeeding from mommy.

Looking forward to celebrating more milestones with you baby Marcus!
Shot with Canon 500D and Sigma 70-300mm

Toy Photography: Detective Conan Outdoor Shoot

I got a Detective Conan figure for my birthday last June but we have been so busy we have had not had the time to go out and shoot. The figure was of Conan ready to play baseball so naturally we had to have an outdoor shoot and since the car was also due for a car wash we found a car wash that was conveniently near Ynares Center so while we were having the car cleaned and washed we headed over to Ynares Center since it was such a sunny day to have Conan's long pending photo shoot and here are the shots!

My account was hacked

About a week ago I woke up to check my email and was aghast to find out that someone had accessed my oDesk account and did many changes. Mainly this person changed the email address connected to the account, the security question and my payment method. It was like waking up to a nightmare when I realized that my account was just hacked. I felt my eyes sting and warm tears suddenly ran down my cheeks as so many realizations hit me at the same time.

You would not want to wake up to this realization.

One thought was about the money- I had about $53.00 in my account which I have not withdrawn yet. I felt so bad because that $53.00 was equivalent to a couple of weeks of doing fixed price jobs. It was hours spent writing in front of a computer instead of sleeping or watching TV.

You might think that $53.00 is not much and it really isn't compared to what I used to make on an hourly writing job, but still- you don't conjure up $53.00 out of thin air.

My 1st Journey to the Underworld

Duane one of my office mates, was trying to get a metal gig.  He invited me to shoot some photos and have fun with the event.   Back in the summer of 2012, there was a metal production that organized an event with bands and booze. It was a night of mayhem and I was lucky enough to cover them. Here are some of my shots, in my first 'Jouney to the Underworld'.

I was unsure what I signed up for.  to my surprise, the gig wasn't packed as I could move and weave around the bar.  It was my first time shooting a metal gig, but in a way I had a few ideas on what needs to be done.  I was a little hesitant as the people are pretty rambunctious and rowdy as they tend to do a weird and wild dance.  So i had to be careful of my equipment.

All in all I had fun with the gig and had an eye opening experience with it.  Thanks for inviting me to shoot, listen to great music and have fun.
