Our Adventures: Coron Day 4

Part of our boat :)

FINALLY! We were able to upload our photos from our October Coron trip in the blog. So after all those months I am now blogging about Day 4 of our Coron adventures.

Our guides promised a more relaxing trip for our itinerary compared to Days 2 and 3. For Day 4 we were heading out to the many white beaches in Coron!

As mentioned before there are many different islands you can go to and some of these are nice quiet, white sand beaches-without the modern comforts and offerings of Boracay.

Setting out to white sand beaches! Just check out the blue mountains!

First Stop is Malcapuya Island! :)

Welcome to Malcapuya Island!

Check out that blue Sky!

Clear waters.

Great view! :)

Parah!parah!paradise! (Yeah it's the Coldplay song)

Paul and Patrick.

Can you believe I actually stepped on this Starfish?!?! and I was even in the shallow part of the water.

A nice surprise is that the caretaker of Malcapuya Island was actually the runner up for Datu Puti's Mukhasim contest. Paul was actually thrilled.

This was our next stop. Banana Island. There are nice huts to stay on the beach and even small stores (sari-sari stores) where you can buy some snacks. I think that this was the beach with the most grass and trees. We also did some snorkeling around the beach. (More! More! Corrals)
Paul with out Tour Guides - Dexter and John Pratts. (Yup! Seriously - John Pratts). Check out his T-shirt!  It was a hit with the American couple who was part of our tour group.

Ken and Teresa- the lovely American couple whom we shared our Coron adventures with.

Photo by Ica. Paul was teaching me a camera trick here-  I forgot what it's called :p

Can you see Ken photobombing our picture? :P

When the skies, the mountains and the ocean  melt together in shades of blue.

Just looking at this photo makes me want to be in the beach! Check out the long range of blue mountains in the horizon! It reminds me of a watercolor painting.

I noticed that most of the beaches/islands we went to in Coron had their own dogs. Some were skinny and others were well fed. 'Bantay' over here was one of the well fed ones. The skinny dogs would hang around us especially when we would have lunch. Being the lone dog on a beach is really not a bad set up. The Cancer in me is pretty jealous of this one in the photo.

We went to La Sereneta for dinner. It's a nice restaurant by the waters. Mmmmmmm Pizza :)
