Things Will Fall Apart: Fear The Walking Dead: Episode 2

What's really scary about Fear The Walking Dead is that it is society as we know it. It is society as how we live in it. We are the characters, with our domestic drama, hopes, dreams, fears, worries about school or work. Heck! They even have their cellphones and lines of communication are still open!

In creating these characters that thought of uncapable to handle the apocalypse was in mind and what chances do a guidance counselor, an English teacher, a drug addict and a competitive high school student have against surviving something that they don't even know or can understand?

They're very different from the original series' characters, a Sherrif, a huntsman with a bow and arrow and a katana wielding badass. So how will they deal with society collapsing and neighbors and peers turning into the infected? Well, this is something that we have to see as the series goes on.

In episode 2 - "So Close Yet So Far-"school is already out and we start to see riots breaking out in the street. Looters have begun to ransack food, medicine and weapons. The police are trying to contain the chaos but until when can their shields and batons protect them from what the audience knows is the beginning of the end?

There are two compelling scenes in the last episode, both placing protagonist Madison on center stage, in the first, she faces an old colleague who has just turned, what does she do? Can she bring herself to kill him in order to survive? And in the other scene - the family is hiding in their home when they hear their neighbor who has just turned attack another neighbor. Her cries and pleas for help pierce the night - would you go out to help?

It's a whole new level of frightening - unfortunately Fear The Walking Dead is on break next Monday (September 7) as it is Labor Day in the US. We'll be able to watch episode 3 on September 14.

Fear The Walking Dead is on every Monday at 9:00AM (local time) on AMC Asia, channel 106 on Sky Cable.

Feel the Heat in the Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials

I don't think I'll be able to finish reading The Scorch Trials in time for the movie but I guess that's okay you can't read 'em before you watch 'em all after all.

At the end of the first movie (The Maze Runner) we see Thomas (Dylan O'Brien) et al escape the Maze but it seems that the running does not stop. Now outside the Maze in a post-apocalyptic world, a ruined Earth known as The Scorch, the Gladers face something completely unknown to them and because they have been in the maze the whole time, everyone they meet has the upper hand, everyone, whether friend or foe.

Outside the Maze, the Gladers learn about the Flare, the disease which has destroyed the world, as well as those infected from the disease, known as the Cranks.

"This is where you get to see what society is like in a world ravaged by disease" says Producer Wyck Godfrey (Twilight).

Protagonist Thomas is haunted by questions of whether he did the right thing by challenging the status quo by leading the Gladers out of The Maze. With all that is going outside - was it all worth it?

“Thomas thought it was over,” notes O’Brien, during a rare moment of pause. “Actually he’s finding out it could be worse. He led them out of the maze – and they’re out, having lost some of their own – but the fact is it’s not what they thought at all, and it’s weighing heavily on him. That does something to a person’s mind, I think.”  He continues: “The challenge is, it’s not just the maze and the Grievers, and just solving one thing anymore. They’re kind of lost, and it’s interesting because while they don’t have to stick together anymore – they’re not confined to the same space – they do stick together.”

With more information about The Scorch - and WCKD, the mysterious organisation that wiped their memories and put them in the maze to begin with - the Gladers will each start wondering about their place in the world.

Thomas Brodie Sangster (Newt, Jojen Reed in Game Of Thrones) says "We're a traveling movie now. The first one (movie) they were trapped and confined. Here (The Scorch Trails) there's a feeling of vastness & space - but they're very lost - it's a whole different world."

Along with O’Brien, returning cast includes Kaya Scodelario, Thoma Brodie-Sangster, Ki Hong Lee, Dexter Darden, Alexander Flores and Patricia Clarkson with new cast members Aidan Gillen, Rosa Salazar, Jacob Lofland, Lili Taylor, Barry Pepper and Nathalie Emmanuel.

Non-stop action adventure awaits when “Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials” opens in cinemas nationwide on September 9 (ahead of the US!) from 20th Century Fox to be distributed by Warner Bros.

Sabina's Christening

Kat - Sabina's mom tagged me to shoot her daughter's Christening. I always adored kids and families, and I love to be part of important occasions.  As mentioned in a Facebook post: " My wife never had any photographs of her Christening."  The thought of that scares me, when it comes to important milestones of our family. As a photographer, I will commit to capturing these important moments.

I'd stab myself in the eye if that ever happens to me and my future kids.

Back when Kat was working in the same office as me, I listened to her stories about her family's adventures. As I watch (Facebook newsfeeds) I got to see their family grow and then I recently discovered that Kat was pregnant and having a baby. It seems that they were blessed with a baby girl, Sabina Keila and I was honored to have been tapped to cover her Christening.

"Tara Kain Tayo" - Made Easier with OpenSnap

Bobby Box in Eastwood Libis (where I work) is a great place to eat for us who work the night shift. They open early (7AM) which is perfect since we get off work at 8AM. The interior is really pretty with brick walls, colorful Bobby Box art on the wall, wood paneled ceilings and even K-Pop music videos playing on a white screen for that contemporary Korean feel.

Their meals (rice box meals) range from P109.00-P159.00 add about P20.00+ for drinks. Paul is happy that they have beer available. San Mig Light for P55.00 is a great deal! Sometimes we get funny looks when we're ordering beer at 8:00AM but remember since we work the night shift this is our 8:00PM so to speak.
Bulgogi Box (Spicy) at P159.00

You can't imagine how much trouble we have when we try to look for a place to eat with our nocturnal schedule. Sometimes my office mates and I would go through hours of arguments of where to eat but thanks to OpenSnap "Tara Kain Tayo" would be so much easier.

Through OpenSnap you can search for restaurants to try out, you can search through key words like what kind of food you are looking for (pasta, burger, Japanese) or by location. You can also just search for the restaurant you are looking for.

OpenSnap is a perfect app for Foodies aside from discovering great new food finds it also serves as a platform for you to post and share your #foodporn photos! You can also review establishments you've visited to help friends decide whether this place is their next food trip. You can also search for newly opened restaurants in your area as well as what the Editor's picks and recommendations are. For us night owls there is a whole section for which establishments are open 24 Hours!

It's an easy app to use and navigate through - no more arguing where to eat with OpenSnap  Tara! Kain tayo!

Making The Girl In The Spider's Web

I enjoyed Stieg Larsson's Millenium Trilogy, I read one book after the next and when the US version of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo came out in cinemas, we watched it on a Valentines date (I know it's not your typical Valentines movie, given the violence in the movie but then again we're not your typical couple either).

Naturally I feel a great loss at the tragic death of Larsson who at 50 died of a heart attack after climbing seven flights of stairs to his office since the elevator was not working (which is why I'm so anxious for George R.R. Martin to finish the two remaining books in the Game Of Thrones series).

The Millenium Trilogy, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, The Girl who played with Fire and The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet's Nest were published posthumously. A bitter (on-going) battle for rights and royalties over Larsson's death between his family and partner followed his death.

                                                     Stieg Larsson

Larsson left an unfinished manuscript for a fourth book but due to the on going fight over rights to the work it seemed as though the world would no longer be able to read any more of the 4'11 punk hacker's adventures.

It's been five years since the third book was published and now fans can celebrate, David Lagercrantz whom Larsson's own publisher hand picked has finished the long awaited fourth installment to Lisbeth Salander's story. Like Larsson, Lagercrantz is also a Sweedish journalist turned novelist.

The negotiations for Lagercrantz writing the book were so secretive that meetings had to be done under cellars, away from the public eye. Lagercrantz wrote the book on a computer that was not connected to the internet. Sending the manuscripts to editors were done in person but now the cat is out of the bag so to speak and long-awaited "The Girl In the Spider's Web" will be out on September 1 in the US.

                                                            David Lagercrantz

Although not everyone seems to be happy with Langercrantz finishing the book, Eva Gabrielsson, the partner of Stieg Larsson has been very vocal about her displeasure at the novel's release. She was quoted on The Guardian as saying: "I don't think it's okay for other people to high jack other people's work." Gabrielsson is in possession of a fourth manuscript which will not be included in the upcoming novel.

In response to this, Lagercrantz has said that in writing the book he "worked harder than ever to live up to him (Larsson). I tried to be worthy of him. He was the brilliant genius who invested this world. I tried to step into it."

The Girl in pa the Spider's Web sees Salander and Blomkvist team up after the murder of a scientist who has been working on Artificial Intelligence, the murder is witnessed by his autistic son. While diving into a new investigation Lisbeth must also face her own skeletons in the closet.

Reviews for the book have mostly been positive.

             Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander

Daniel Craig as Mikael Blomkvist and Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander
in the US version of "The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo"

UPDATE!!!

The Girl In The Spider's Web is already available at FULLY BOOKED.

Sink Your Teeth Into Fear The Walking Dead

While waiting for the new season of The Walking Dead, Walker fans can sink their teeth into it's companion series Fear The Walking Dead which had it's worldwide premiere today.

Robert Kirkman, the co-creator of the original Walking Dead comic books and TV Series worked with executive producer Dave Erickson (Sons Of Anarchy) for the six episode first season.

If you recall the protagonist of The Walking Dead Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) was in a coma during the beginning of the first season. Fear The Walking Dead covers the five week period where Rick was in his coma; it takes viewers out of the backwoods of Georgia to the concrete jungle of Los Angeles.

Kirkman and Erickson tell the story of a blended family led by Madison (Kim Dickens) a widowed high school guidance counselor struggling to raise her drug-addicted son, Nick (Frank Dillane), and ambitious teen daughter, Alicia (Alycia Debnam-Carey). Madison finds strength and companionship in fiancé Travis, an English teacher who has his own strained relationships with ex-wife Liza (Elizabeth Rodriguez) and son Chris (Lorenzo James Henrie) who are all in the middle of the domestic drama from which some middle-class American families would be familiar with.

“We start off with a slow burn in our first few episodes because we had the opportunity to explore the dysfunction that comes with family,” Erickson says. “We also wanted to have characters who were completely ill-equipped for the apocalypse.”

The first episode starts with some drugged up version of that Resident Evil scene I can't get out of my head from when I was a kid then it goes to the central family, their problems and drama (too much drama maybe) with some little clues as to the beginning of the end.

It's just dissapointing that the exact cause of the outbreak or the search for a cure will not be addressed. That's something that I have been salivating for (so to speak) in the original series. You'd think that when they'd go to "where it all began" they would at least brush on the origin of the outbreak.

It's interesting how the viewers know more than the characters themselves, they haven't exactly gone through Zombie 101 yet and will have to learn things as they go-so to speak. Then all hell breaks loose as the viewers watch society as they know it crumble to the apocalypse.

You can watch Fear The Walking Dead locally every Monday morning at 9:00 AM on AMC. Encore at 10:00 PM - the same day, Channel 106 on Sky Cable. We had it added on our package for P50.00 a month, it's a pretty good deal for one promising new show. I guess Monday morning errands would have to take a back seat.

Fear The Walking Dead has already been renewed for a 15 episode second season.

Yana's 1st Birthday

We were tapped to cover Yana's beautiful first birthday celebration. Her dad (whom she is the spitting image of) works abroad so he couldn't be there so we really wanted to take beautiful photos of the event to capture these memories.

Mommy Andy worked really hard to make sure that every detail of the birthday celebration was perfect.

In a very unique theme (pastel blue and under the sea) Yana appeared to guests in an adorable crocheted mermaid costume :)

Check out the beautiful photos of Mom and Yana :)

Dreams Come True In Property 24

Paul and I watch a lot of home improvement shows on cable TV, whether it is buying and selling homes and properties, home improvement shows, fixer uppers, flipping houses, even Tiny House hunting! I guess we're at that age where house improvements become a fun hobby. Dreaming up of remodeling the house has become a pillow conversation and it always gives that positive outlook which actually inspires you to work harder to reach that dream.

From watching all these home improvement shows on TV, we realized the importance of knowing the market value of houses and properties out there, as well as assessing the value of your own property.
Which is why it's great that we were able to encounter Property 24

Property24.com.ph is the fastest growing property portal in the Philippines.  They provide an effective online platform for leading Real Estate Developers, Agencies and Brokers that allows them to showcase their property listings to a wider audience of qualified prospective Buyers.

Here are some of our dream listings in Property 24.

4-Bedroom House & Lot - Tagaytay City (photo above)

I've always told myself if we'll have another property it would be out of town, where we can go and bring the family for Weeekend trips and this property in Metrogate Tagaytay near Mahogany is perfect!

It has 4 Bedrooms, 3 Bathrooms, a maid's room, Den, storage, utility service area. Lanai, walk in and has a 2 car garage port. It's an ideal getaway with the family especially during the sweltering summers. With a property like this we can easily cool off during summer weekends or just any long weekend :)

Signa Designer - Condo in Makati

Another dream property I would have is a condo in the city, with the horrible traffic in the metro it is a big convenience to have a Condominium unit in the heart of the city. This would make things easier when we have events to cover and also a good place to invest in for when we have a child in the future, he/she can stay in the condo unit when he/she reaches college. I know it's still too far ahead in the future but it doesn't hurt to think about these things in the present.

The Signa Designer units are the first designer residences in the Philippines so you can be sure that the aesthetics are top notch. You will get to enjoy premium amenities and facilities (swimming pool!!!!) in 'an artistic & tropical inspired urban haven in the heart of the Makati Commercial & Business District'.

Beach Property-Playa Laiya Batangas

I LOVE THE BEACH!!! So having a dream property by the beach is a must! I want something near the city so Batangas is definitely a no-brainer. Thanks to Property 24 I have an idea of what is available on the market and I'm keeping my eye on this. Playa Laiya is a private and executive seaside residential community. The luxury beach property in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas has a 1.5 kilometer beachfront with pristine white sand.

The vacation homes feature modern Tropical Asian designs and boasts of world class amenities as well as fun beach activities that residents can enjoy :)

Commercial Unit - Quezon City

While we are in the topic of dream properties, one of our ultimate dreams is for Paul's photography to pick up and we would need to get a commercial unit to set up an office :)

This 400 sqm commercial unit in Quezon City is a good fit. It has 2 floors and 8 parking spaces alloted.

Condo Unit - Bellagio 3 BGC - Taguig City

It's important to remember that dream properties is not just about living a luxurious life, it's important that you also thinking about making good investments, dream properties can also be a means for you to have additional income. Getting a condominium unit to rent or lease is a good source of income, especially since the demand for condo units is high. :)

I would love to get to live in any of these listings one day :)

Property 24 is a good source of information and a great way to keep on dreaming and be inspired. It helps you find a goal for you to work hard on. Cinderella sang: "A Dream is a wish, your heart makes" and she now lives Happily Ever After in a castle. :)

Small Body. Big Sound. Marshall Acton Speaker Review

The Marshall brand is synonymous to producing good quality sound whether through music amplifiers, speaker cabinets or headphones/earphones.  Which is why I have been coveting the Marshall Bluetooth Speakers since they came out in the market about a year ago. Like it's amplifier brother, the Marshall Bluetooth Speakers brings quality sound to the home. Maintaining it's amplifier look, which would appeal to musicians and music lovers alike the bluetooth speakers is not only a beautiful conversation piece or a great asset in a room but of course brings high quality sound as expected from a leading brand like Marshall.

The Bluetooth Speakers comes in two forms, the Acton and Stanmore. My cousin got his very own Acton Marshall Bluetooth speaker and we got to try it out!

We were really impressed with the quality of the sound and how it filled the space we were in. For a speaker at 5.9 x 10.4 x 6.29 inches it was a party! Whether you are alone in your room chilling to some music or in a full-on party the Acton will surely deliver. It would fill small-medium sized houses and a good portion of large houses. You can adjust the volume to suit your needs and preferences and of course maintain good relations with your neighbors.

Connectivity Details

Bluetooth - The Acton uses Bluetooth V4.0 which is the latest version and delivers the best audio quality possible with Bluetooth. The great thing about the Bluetooth technology is that you are still free to use your device, you can bring it anywhere, it's not plugged up to the speakers.

Wired Connectivity - The Acton can receive audio from it's 3.5mm (AUX) port, maintaining it's cohesive guitar amp look, the jack for the Acton looks like a guitar jack.

The Marshall Acton Bluetooth speakers looks good and sounds good. It's portable size makes it easy to move around the house of course just set it up in a place for people to easily admire it, it's just too beautiful it would really be a shame if people don't get to see it. Not recommended to bring along during trips to the beach or such, since it has to be plugged in to work.

The Acton and it's bigger brother Stanmore are available in electronic stores. A great investment for audiophiles and music lovers, you'll be the envy of all of your friends.

PIXELS Invade The Movies

Video games have always been a big part of my childhood. My father was  the cool dad who owned consoles before it was generally accepted as a household item. I think we were the first family in our whole subdivision to own a Playstation. Because of my Dad's hobby of buying video games, my cousins would often spend summers at our place, playing until the early morning.

Which is why I really loved "Wreck It Ralph" when it came out, it was a story about the video games that we loved to play. Now Chris Columbus' "PIXELS" will take the video game theme on a new spin with a comedic take on what happens when aliens invade the Earth through 80's classic video games and our only hope is a team of has-been Arcade champions.

Not only does the unique plot and hilarious comedy of Columbia Pictures’ “Pixels” distinguish it from the crowd, but the film also looks different from other summer films. “Most visual effects movies – including movies I’ve been involved with – set out to create extraordinarily realistic visual effects,” director Chris Columbus explains.

On Pixels, we were aiming for something you’ve never seen before. When these videogame characters come to life, they take on this pixelated form with an aura lit from within, and constantly moving. It’s literally a three-dimensional version of the 8-bit games you used to see on your arcade screen.”

The list of the film’s pixelated co-stars reads like an all-star team of the 1980s: PAC-MAN™, Donkey Kong™, Centipede®, Galaga™, Frogger, Q*bert™, and Space Invaders™, among many others.

These classic characters were part of the DNA of the project, so it was critical that we work together to bring them on board,” explains Allen Covert, one of the film’s producers. “Fortunately, they were all extremely receptive. We approached them with a deep love for their characters and a respect for the elements that make them unique and iconic, and we worked with the companies to incorporate those elements into the film.”

Partners included Atari Interactive, Inc. (Asteroids, Breakout, Centipede, Missile Command); Konami Digital Entertainment (Frogger); Bandai Namco Entertainment (PAC-MAN, Galaga, Dig Dug); Nintendo (Donkey Kong, Duck Hunt); Sony Computer Entertainment (Q*Bert); TAITO CORPORATION (Arkanoid, Space Invaders); and Warner Bros. Interactive (Paperboy, Joust, Defender, Robotron), G-MODE (BurgerTime), and TETRIS (Tetris).

PIXELS also stars Adam Sandler (who also produces the film), Kevin James, Josh Gad (Olaf from Frozen), Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister from Game Of Thrones) and Michelle Monaghan.

Opening across the Philippines in August 26, “Pixels” is distributed by Columbia Pictures, local office of Sony Pictures Releasing International.

Get Emotional With 'Inside Out'

In a time of sequels, remakes and reboots it's very refreshing to have a movie based on an ingenious and original idea. It is also worth noting that that this story is one we could all relate in, no matter the age and gender and that is another criteria which makes Inside Out a movie every one should see!

Set inside the mind of an 11 year old girl, Inside Out features a team of emotions, Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness who govern Riley's mind. From their headquarters the emotions also manage Riley's memories, now I won't get too technical in the details in how HQ works but it's really all in a day's work for the team of emotions who try to get Riley through every day. They face a real challenge when Riley's family moves to a new city and as an 11 year old girl that could be really tough and as if that wasn't hard enough, Joy who mostly manages the team becomes lost in Riley's mind along with Sadness. Now they must make their way back before Riley makes a decision which could be the beginning of the end.

Everything about the movie was new, unexplored and undiscovered and yet it was all very relatable. Of course we have all felt the five emotions on our own so it's fun to imagine a team of them operating in our head. Aside from the emotions, the story also tackles other details of how the mind works, such as memories, dreams, personality, and even explains LSS. It's all very smart, adults will find it amusing, even psychiatrists and psychologists will have a hoot, of course the kids will enjoy it too :)

Watching the film was like therapy, it's a fun way to understand how our emotions and mind works, how our feelings help us in life, that it's okay to be angry, to be afraid, to be disgusted and to be sad. It's not all about being happy all the time, all the emotions are important and I love that the film showcases the importance of the emotions working as a team, it sort of reminded me of how me and my team in the office work :)

Of course a good Disney-Pixar movie is one that will make you cry and boy-did Inside Out bring in the waterworks, good thing I had a hankerchief when I watched it! It's the kind of crying in your movie seat that can only be caused by a good Disney-Pixar film.

There is a moment in the film where they captured that sigh of relief, happiness that we let out after a good cry. It was less than a second but for me it was capturing something that I have felt, that I have done and that was another ingredient that made Inside Out so magical.

It really is one of those movies that people will be talking about for years to come, it's innovative yet relatable and of course still hilarious and heart warming. The human mind is a complex thing and the fact that they were able to visualize it and make it come alive in such a fun and colorful way, that's easy to understand just makes you want to keep on seeing the movie over and over again.

10/10 it's a movie you must see with family and friends!

Inside Out is in cinemas now from Walt Disney Studios.

Manic Panic In Hot Hot Pink

I've always had a weird relationship with my hair, in High School I would cut my own hair, literally get a pair of scissors and just cut away, I guess it was my own way of coping with teenage years. There was a time I even had ear tails, you know those long hair extensions that went in front of your ears while the rest of your hair was short? You'd mostly see it in Anime and as an Otaku it was just my way of experimenting and expressing myself.

In College I was just lucky enough to have naturally straight hair, so while my classmates had their hair rebonded, mine stayed a virgin. When I started working, people were starting to color their hair and while I had the brown and reddish color done I really wanted to experiment more with bold colors. Which is why I'm exhilarated to have finally gotten my hands on a Manic Panic dye.

When people see my pink-ombré hair, they think I had it done in a salon when in reality it was just me, on a weekend at home. So first I just bleached my hair with a simple bleaching kit I bought from the Four Strings in Cubao Expo at P150.00 if you order it through Rainbow Head it would just be P100.00.

There are other bleaching kits available and if ever I decide to bleach my whole head I might get a different bleaching kit. I've had my hair bleached for a few weeks before I was finally able to purchase a Manic Panic Dye. It's P800.00 at The Four Strings in Cubao Expo but P750.00 when you order it from Rainbow Head.

I just followed the instructions and voila! I was actually worried that it wasn't going to be as pink as I'd hope but I'm happy with how it turned out. It's just really important to bleach your hair first so the color will really come out.

It's only a semi-permanent dye though so the color will fade in about 3-6 weeks time (according to the container) I've already re-touched it but I still have enough left for another batch of re-touch.

I'll probably let this grow out, cut my hair then bleach it again, if it will be the whole head is something that we'll have to see. :)

Do you think I can pull off a whole head of pink or blue?

What color should I try next?

You can purchase Manic Panic Dyes and other hair dyes and hair products from Rainbow Head - just follow them on Instagram @rainbowheadph and on Facebook too :)

Thrills & Chills In The Gift

I usually shy away from horror-thriller movies, especially B-Slasher ones. When I first heard about The Gift i thought that it was another horror movie with a cheesy title but as I started to read about the positive reviews  and praises about the movie I was suddenly excited for it.

"The Gift" has been called the 'surprise of the summer box office', it has earned a 92% rating in Rotten Tomatoes and fellow movie aficionados abroad have highly recommended it.

Needless to say I had high expectations for the film and I'm happy to say that I was not dissapointed.

The Gift starts with a simple enough premise, a young couple move into a beautiful new home and while shopping for home decor Simon (Jason Bateman) and his wife Robyn (Rebecca Hall) run into an old friend of Simon's from High School.

Joel Edgerton who also wrote the story, was producer on the film and a first time Director plays the 'socially awkward' Gordo. Simple enough story right? It can happen to me and you and what seems to be a simple enough plot blossoms into a dark, sinister revenge story.

Audiences's prejudices will be challenged as they will meet controversial characters who don't really fit into the traditional protagonist & antagonist roles.

Not lacking in it's own heart-stopping, surprise moments, you will surely miss out if you don't watch The Gift.  It's a dark revenge story without monsters and killers but just ordinary people like you and me who still manage to destroy lives and sometimes that is even much more frightening.

The ending is so surprising & unexpected that will feel as though a rug was pulled from under you and as you lay on the floor shocked and surprised, you will realize true horror for what it really is. A psychological thriller that will have you thinking about the movie long after the movie has ended.

The Gift is a must see movie for those who are looking more than the ordinary movie experience, I've seen the movie about a week ago and I'm still bothered about it.

The Gift opens on August 19 in local cinemas and is distributed by OctoArts Films International.
