Movies: “Station 19's” Grey Damon Stars In “The Possession Of Hannah Grace”

Despite the horror Shay Mitchell’s character Megan Reed goes through in Columbia Pictures’ The Possession of Hannah Grace, she has allies who are willing to put themselves in danger to help her. One of the most willing is her cop ex-boyfriend Andrew, played by fast-rising star Grey Damon (Station 19, Friday Night Lights, The Flash).

Despite their estrangement, Andrew still cares deeply about Megan and worries that the morgue Megan works in isn’t a safe space for someone wrestling with overcoming addiction. “I think that Andrew is the voice of reason the little angel on Megan’s shoulder, her conscience,” says Damon. “Even though Megan is really messed up right now, Andrew knows that she faced this major tragedy and is trying to get her life back in order.”

In the new horror film, the recent Manila visitor and Filipina-Canadian actress brings to the screen a highly competent heroine, ex-cop Megan Reed, who has fallen on hard times but is determined to regain her footing. To do so, though, Megan will have to overcome challenges unlike any she might ever have imagined as a series of supernatural events prompts her to doubt her own sanity. A demonic force has set its sights on her and will stop at nothing to see her dead and defeated.

Thanks to her dancing and modeling background, Kirby Johnson nabbed the pivotal role of the possessed titular character in Columbia Pictures’ new horror thriller The Possession of Hannah Grace, the ill-fated girl who loses her life in the unsettling exorcism that opens the film.

The violent, vicious demonic force that has taken over Hannah’s body isn’t content to let a thing like her death put an end to its reign of terror, and once her cadaver arrives in the morgue, the evil spirit senses a perfect opportunity to wage continued destruction, claiming a mounting roster of new victims as it pursues its real quarry, Megan, played by Shay Mitchell.

In the film, a shocking exorcism spirals out of control, claiming the life of a young woman. Months later, Megan Reed (Shay Mitchell) is working the graveyard shift in the morgue when she takes delivery of a disfigured cadaver. Locked alone inside the basement corridors, Megan begins to experience horrifying visions and starts to suspect that the body may be possessed by a ruthless demonic force.

Directed by Diederik Van Rooijen, written by Brian Sieve, and produced by Todd Garner & Sean Robins, the film stars Shay Mitchell, Grey Damon, Kirby Johnson and Stana Katic.
