Movies: LONG LIVE THE KING IN NEW “BLACK PANTHER” POSTER


Marvel Studios has just revealed a new poster for Marvel Studios’ “Black Panther” during the San Diego San Comic-Con.

Marvel Studios’ Black Panther follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk. Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.

The film is directed by Ryan Coogler and produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Nate Moore, Jeffrey Chernov and Stan Lee serving as executive producers. Ryan Coogler & Joe Robert Cole wrote the screenplay.

The new trailer for Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok has debuted in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con along with a new poster!

Movies: Twin Brother Are Exact Opposites In New "Despicable Me 3" Poster


Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment have revealed the teaser poster of Despicable Me 3 featuring the twin brothers Gru and Dru who cannot be more different from each other.

Illumination, who brought audiences Despicable Me and the biggest animated hits of 2013 and 2015, Despicable Me 2 and Minions, continues the adventures of Gru, Lucy, their adorable daughters—Margo, Edith and Agnes—and the Minions in Despicable Me 3.

Directed by Pierre Coffin and Kyle Balda, co-directed by Eric Guillon and written by Cinco Paul & Ken Daurio, the animated film is produced by Illumination’s Chris Meledandri and Janet Healy, and executive produced by Chris Renaud.

Joining Steve Carell and Kristen Wiig in Despicable Me 3 is Emmy, Tony and Grammy Award winner Trey Parker, co-creator of Comedy Central’s global phenomenon South Park and the Broadway smash The Book of Mormon. Parker voices the role of villain Balthazar Bratt, a former child star who’s grown up to become obsessed with the character he played in the ‘80s, and proves to be Gru’s most formidable nemesis to date.

Movies: Optimus, Bumblebee In New "Transformers: The Last Knight" Poster


Paramount Pictures has just launched the new Transformers: The Last Knight one-sheet showing Optimus Prime and Bumblebee in combat mode, with the ominous tagline, “For one world to live, the other must die.”

The fifth instalment of the massively successful Transformers franchise is coming to Philippine theatres on June 21, 2017,

In the film, when all seems lost, a few brave souls can save everything we’ve ever known.

Directed by Michael Bay,The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. Movie News: NEW “DUNKIRK” TRAILER PUTS YOU AT THE BATTLEFRONT


The new trailer of master filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s epic war film Dunkirk has just been released and may be viewed at https://youtu.be/L4-UIhtbz4M. 

Nolan (Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy) directs Dunkirk from his own original screenplay, utilizing a mixture of IMAX® and 65mm film to bring the story to the screen. 

Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces.  Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.

Dunkirk features a prestigious cast, including Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and Cillian Murphy as well as newcomer Fionn Whitehead.  The ensemble cast also includes Aneurin Barnard, Harry Styles, James D’Arcy, Jack Lowden, Barry Keoghan and Tom Glynn-Carney. 

Warner Bros. Pictures is distributing Dunkirk worldwide and has slated the film for a July 20, 2017release in the Philippines.

Movie News: NEW “TRANSFORMERS: THE LAST KNIGHT” POSTER SUGGESTS `RETHINK YOUR HEROES'


Paramount Pictures has rolled out a new poster for Michael Bay's Transformers: The Last Knight bearing the ominous tagline, “Rethink your heroes.”

The fifth film in the Transformers franchise, The Last Knight expands the mythology of the Transformers universe by introducing a medieval-centric backstory, with Mark Wahlberg reprising his lead role from Transformers: Age of Extinction.

Transformers: The Last Knight stars Mark Wahlberg, Laura Haddock, Anthony Hopkins, Isabela Moner, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, John Turturro, and Josh Duhamel.

The most recent film in the franchise, 2014's “Transformers: Age of Extinction” grossed $1.1 billion worldwide.

Opening across the Philippines in June 21, 2017, “Transformers: The Last Knight” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.

Movie News: NEW “FIST FIGHT” TRAILER PROVES BOYS WILL BE BOYS


Two angry grown men slug it out in the schoolyard in New Line Cinema’s comedy Fist Fight, starring Ice Cube and Charlie Day.

Movie News: BEHOLD THE TEASER POSTER OF “THE MUMMY” STARRING TOM CRUISE


Universal Pictures has uncovered the teaser poster for Tom Cruise's new, epic action-adventure The Mummy.

In the film, thought safely entombed in a tomb deep beneath the unforgiving desert, an ancient princess (Sofia Boutella of Kingsman: The Secret Service and Star Trek Beyond) whose destiny was unjustly taken from her is awakened in our current day, bringing with her malevolence grown over millennia and terrors that defy human comprehension.

From the sweeping sands of the Middle East through hidden labyrinths under modern-day London, The Mummy brings a surprising intensity and balance of wonder and thrills in an imaginative new take that ushers in a new world of gods and monsters.

Cruise is joined by a cast including Annabelle Wallis (upcoming King Arthur, Annabelle), Jake Johnson (Jurassic World), Courtney B. Vance (TV’s American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson) and Oscar® winner Russell Crowe (Gladiator).

Columbia Pictures has released the character posters for “Underworld: Blood Wars,” the latest installment in the blockbuster Underworld franchise. Getting their individual one-sheets are Selene (Kate Beckinsale), David (Theo James), Thomas (Charles Dance) and Tobias Menzies (Marius).

Movie News: LATEST BRAND NEW TRAILER OF GAME-TO-MOVIE “ASSASSIN’S CREED”


                The latest brand new trailer of “Assassin’s Creed” starring Academy Award® nominee Michael Fassbender reveals a much more dangerous world as it puts the audience in the middle of an ancient war between two age old factions - the Assassins, who fight to protect free will among the populace, and the Templars, who aspire to impose a New World Order.

 

                Throughout history, these two groups have been fighting for the fate of humanity.  In the present, the Templars are close to realizing their dream of dominion by using ancient artifacts (created by an extremely evolved First Civilization) known collectively as Pieces of Eden.  Among other things, these artifacts have the power to optimize the human mind.

 

                Based on the highly-successful and popular Ubisoft video game series, “Assassin’s Creed” sees Fassbender plays dual roles as Callum Lynch, a Death Row convict spared execution by the Templars, as well as his 15th Century ancestor, Aguilar de Nehra, a Master Assassin who fought the Spanish Inquisition in his quest to keep a sacred artifact out of Templar hands.  Through a revolutionary technology that unlocks his genetic memories, Callum Lynch (Fassbender) experiences the adventures of his ancestor, Aguilar, in 15th Century Spain.  Callum discovers he is descended from a mysterious secret society, the Assassins, and amasses incredible knowledge and skills to take on the oppressive and powerful Templar organization in the present day.

The teaser poster for Paramount Pictures' new holiday comedy Office Christmas Party has just been released, encouraging office workers to “Party like your job depends on it.”

In “Office Christmas Party,” when the CEO (Jennifer Aniston) tries to close her hard-partying brother’s branch, he (T.J. Miller) and his Chief Technical Officer (Jason Bateman) must rally their co-workers and host an epic office Christmas party in an effort to impress a potential client and close a sale that will save their jobs.

Movies: NEW ONE-SHEET ART ARRIVES FOR “THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE”


Always be yourself, unless you can be Batman,” says the tongue-in-cheek tagline of the new poster art for Warner Animation Group's upcoming adventure comedy “The LEGO Batman Movie.”

Movies: “MOANA” MASTERS THE SEAS IN NEWLY LAUNCHED PAYOFF POSTER


Disney has just released the payoff poster for the new, seafaring animated adventure “Moana” starring Dwayne Johnson and Auli'i Cravalho. The film sails into Philippine cinemas Nov. 30.

Three thousand years ago, the greatest sailors in the world voyaged across the vast South Pacific, discovering the many islands of Oceania. But then, for a millennium, their voyages stopped – and no one today knows why.

Movies: “THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN” PEEKS THROUGH THE WINDOW IN NEW POSTER

Movies: “JACK REACHER: NEVER GO BACK” LAUNCHES PAYOFF POSTER


Tom Cruise and Cobie Smulders have each other's back in the newly released the main poster art for Paramount Pictures' action-thriller “Jack Reacher: Never Go Back” due in Philippine cinemas on Oct. 19th.

Cruise returns as Jack Reacher with his particular brand of justice in the highly anticipated sequel. Based on Paula Hawkins’ bestselling novel, “The Girl on the Train” is directed by Tate Taylor (“The Help”) and adapted for the screen by Erin Cressida Wilson.

In the thriller, Rachel (Blunt), who is devastated by her recent divorce, spends her daily commute fantasizing about the seemingly perfect couple who live in a house that her train passes every day, until one morning she sees something shocking happen there and becomes entangled in the mystery that unfolds.

The film is produced by Marc Platt (“Bridge of Spies,” “Into the Woods”); the executive producers are Jared LeBoff and Celia Costas.

Opening across the Philippines on October 05, “The Girl on the Train” is distributed by United International Pictures through Columbia Pictures.
