There is always that sense of pride that I feel when a band that I genuinely belive in and have been rooting for are taking a step up the ladder in the saturated and difficult music industry and Circa is one of those bands I am cheering for.
Ever since watching them during Paramore Night 3 - Circa has always been a favorite (they were in my List of OPM Buzz Worthy Artists blog post). Their songs are well written and well executed during live performances. They sound good on record too! For now I have to listen to them on Soundcloud (You can listen to them in my Circa playlist on Soundcloud here ~ I'm definitely looking forward to an EP or an album. Let's hope for that soon!
For the mean time, Circa is having the video launch for their video 'Habang Buhay' this August 10 at Route 196. You can check out more details or say 'Yes! You are going' to the event page on Facebook here!
PCheng Photography is a sponsor of the event and we also sponsored an EP and Music Video launch a few months back for Midnight Meetings and it was super fun! And I am sure that the launch for Circa's Habang Buhay will be the same. Just check out the performances lined up!

I really admire Circa, aside from their undeniable talent they pursue their passion in music and still have their day jobs. Rushing from work to be at gigs in the evenings. I have watched them during early morning recording sessions in the Yellow Room with Kuya Monty and even if it's 1:00AM they are really working hard for their music. So let's be there to support one of the rising bands in the local music scene! Let's be proud of music that we can truly call ours! Mabuhay ang OPM! Mabuhay ang bandang Circa!
